  • The Irish Funds Industry Association (Irish funds): Comgest is a member of the representative body for the international investment fund community in Ireland, contributing to working groups and discussions on topics such as responsible investing.
  • Forum per la Finanza Sostenibile (Italian Forum for Sustainable Finance): Comgest is a member of this non-profit association, which promotes the inclusion of ESG criteria into financial products and processes.

ENVIRONMENTAL

  • Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative (NZAMI): Comgest is a signatory to this initiative, driven by an international group of asset managers committed to supporting the goal of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner.
  • CDP: Comgest has supported the CDP since 2012 and participated in several campaigns, including the CDP Non-Disclosure Campaign.
  • Climate Action 100+ initiative: Comgest is a signatory to this investor-led initiative, which aims to ensure the world’s largest corporate greenhouse gas emitters take necessary action on climate change.
  • Task Force for Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD): Comgest has supported the TCFD since 2017 and encourages all portfolio companies to align their disclosures with TCFD recommendations.
  • Farm Animal Investment Risk & Return (FAIRR) Initiative: Comgest is a member of this collaborative investor network, which raises awareness of ESG risks and opportunities related to intensive livestock production.
  • Deforestation-Free Finance Initiative: Comgest is a signatory to the Financial Sector Commitment Letter on Eliminating Commodity-driven Deforestation. 
  • Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC): Comgest is a member of this European forum for investor collaboration on climate change and participates in IIGCC’s Net Zero Engagement Initiative (NZEI).
  • Investor Policy Dialogue on Deforestation (IPDD): Comgest is a member of the IPDD Brazil, a collaborative investor initiative to engage with public agencies and industry associations in select countries on the issue of deforestation.
  • Investor Initiative on Hazardous Chemicals (IIHC): Comgest is an active member of this initiative, which aims to reduce the impacts on human health and the environment from hazardous chemical manufacturing, thereby reducing financial risks to investors from litigation, regulation and threats to companies’ license to operate.
  • Nature Action 100: Comgest is a member of this collaborative engagement initiative focused on driving greater corporate ambition and action to reduce nature and biodiversity loss.
  • Partnership for Biodiversity Accounting Financials (PBAF): Comgest is a member of this industry-led partnership that enables financial institutions to assess and disclose impacts and dependencies on biodiversity of their investments. Participation in PBAF helps Comgest strengthens its ability to assess and measure nature-related risks. 
  • Avoided Emissions Platform (AEP): Comgest is a founding partner of this collective initiative, which provides a methodology to calculate avoided emissions and a curated database of avoided emissions factors for products and services critical for the low-carbon transition. 
  • Nature Benchmark Collective Impact Coalition (CIC): Comgest is a member of this initiative, organised by the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA), which engages with companies to improve their assessments and disclosures of impacts and dependencies on nature.
  • Chemical Decarbonisation Investor Coalition: Comgest is a member of the Chemical Decarbonisation Investor Coalition which engages with key European chemical companies to accelerate decarbonisation.

  • 30% Club France Investor Group: Comgest is a member of this French chapter of a global business campaign, which aims to boost the representation of women in boardrooms and executive leadership roles.
  • Investor Alliance for Human Rights: Comgest is a member of this collective action platform, which promotes responsible investment grounded in respect for fundamental human rights. 
  • PRI Advance Platform: Comgest is an endorser of this PRI-led collaborative stewardship initiative, focused on human rights and social issues.
  • Access to Medicine Foundation: Comgest is a Signatory Investor of the Access to Medicine Foundation, an independent non-profit organisation which analyses how the world's largest pharmaceutical companies are addressing access to medicine.
  • World Benchmark Alliance (WBA) Collective Impact Coalition on Ethical AI: Comgest is a member of this initiative, organised by the WBA and industry peers, which engages with technology companies to promote ethical AI policies and practices.
